Penstemon Palmer's Seeds

Penstemon palmeri

Item #1303

Perennial. Unlike most other penstemons, the lovely pink flowers of this heirloom have a wonderful fragrance that might remind you of roses or honeysuckle. Soaring stems up to 5' tall emerge in spring to summer with a show of tubular flowers that attract hummingbirds, butterflies, and bees. Ideal for sandy or gravelly soils with good drainage. Established plants are drought tolerant. Perennial in USDA zones 4–9.
